Nonthaburi is located to the north of Bangkok on the Chao Phraya River and covers an area of 622.3km2.  The province is divided into 6 districts, Mueang Nonthaburi, Bang Kruai, Bang Yai, Bang Bua Thong, Sai Noi and Pak Kret.  Nonthaburi makes a great day away from Bangkok City and is full of historical temples, fruit/flower plantations.



*Wat Khama- Large pagoda with lord Buddha's relics and image

*Srinagarindra's Park- Large park covering 41acres

*Wat Chaloem Phra Kiat Worawiharn- This temple has a chinese style to it with a buddha image named Phraphuttamahalokaphinannthapatima.

*Wat Saeng Siritham Floating Market- Local products on sale

*Chaloem Kanchanaphisek Park- Large public park covering 41 acres.

*Bang Rak Noi Agricultural Centre- Open to the public for visiting and tasting.

*The Museum Of Anthropology- This is the first natural history museum built in Thailand

*The Prathom Nonthaburi Palace- Beautiful palace which has a Thai and European design to it.

*Sai Noi Floating Market

*Ko Kret- Small island in the Chao Phraya River.  Pottery craftsman live here and the island is easily accessible by boat from Wat Sanom Nua.
